DeliciousSo, I’ve been pondering amongst the 50,000 other considerations of all things wedding, what in the world to do with my hair the day of? I know that the updo is quite popular/traditional, but I’m hoping to “funk it out” a little bit with an elegant but still sassy “down do”, ala the trendsetting beauties shown below. I especially like Kate’s side-ponytail, however these all are some styles I’ve been pondering. What do you think? :

Wow, great examples! I’m partial to Carrie Underwood’s style (yes, she’s vegan) but if you have Carrie or Katie’s face shape, any style would work on you! It also depends if you’re wearing a veil or not. Not sure how Sean’s style would accommodate a veil (which requires a pin or comb or something)? The last one looks like you’ll have to lose a few hours of sleep to sit in the hair stylist’s chair!
I like them all. If you can get your hair stylist is able to accomplish any of these looks, you’ll do great. If I had to choose one, I’d say the ride with veil with the flowing locks all the way.
I like Carrie Underwood’s and the 3rd picture. I tend to lean towards hair that is half up and half down especially since it will be a very long day for you so you don’t want it all down because it might go flat and get in the way half way through the day, but I also think that style of hair is classy and sexy.

I am getting married in July and have been looking at hairstyles as well too! I absolutely love the flowing curls w/ the veil. (The blonde one w/ her hair half up) My wedding is going to be VERY formal and I still don’t think its too casual. Its beautiful. I’m actually using this picture as a basis for my hair
