WEDDING DECOR I DON’T ABHOR…

So many decisions. Flowers, colors, themes, favors, place cards, menus, invitations, aisle runners, lighting, centerpieces… just to name a few! “Turquoise-y” blue has been my favorite color for quite some time. So, as to have at least somewhat of a starting point, let’s consider decor for “the blue (Tiffany/turquoise/aqua blue) & brown dream wedding”. Hopefully this post will provide some inspiration for divas looking for a fab color-combo, while I try to figure out what sticks for us, as well. :

I can't decide if this tablescape knocks me out, but there's something extra special about the texture of that placemat huh?...

Here come the bridesmaids…

I'm thinking that's FAKE fur, or really, I can nix it...

Oh how I love a good dress w/a sash.

This could double as a sexy reception dress for the blue-themed wedding. Hmmm, I think I'm feeling the spark of an idea...

But just for the bride…

This is actually THE type of dress I originally wanted, but then I saw a picture of the ONE. Anyway, I think a big obnoxious sash is so captivating on a wedding dress

Even a fantastic brown & blue look for the groom…

Soooooo pretty, no?

Soooooo darn elegant.

Have you died yet and gone to chocolate & blue ribbon heaven?

The only question that remains: how oh how to coordinate FLOWERS with a blue & brown wedding theme?

UP NEXT: Perhaps an answer?? :) Hugs to all, C.

Check out these pictures from a wedding I did last summer. They did the chocolate and Tiffany blue color scheme.

    Candy,

I actually didn’t mean to post it three time, lol. I don’t know how that happened. Here are some other images.

Great color scheme. I might decide on this for my wedding too. Trying to decide between aquamarine & brown or navy. Thanks for the inspiration! – M

Well hey, I tried, lol. I’m not sure what the problem is. You can see additional pics here:

Nonetheless, I love that color palette, I think it’s classic and you’ll be able to play up the colors beautifully!

  7. No worries at all, hope that didn’t feel like I was the picture police!! :) I had just already seen the rest of the pics & I thought you were trying to post the others, as well. Looks like a job well done! (Josh is DROOLING over their cake)!
Thanks & talk to you soon!!!

  8. Funny, I had already imagined you with this color scheme…. so beautiful and perfect for you. I immediately thought of hydrangeas (their color is so gorgeous)… and then my mind wandered to morning glories, pansies and violas… so many lovely flowers in the blue family.

  9. I love these details. The color scheme is so elegant!

CANDY! Holy smokes you have great taste! So elegant and classy. {: Love the posh of it all. So…. Does this mean the colors are likely blue and brown? PSYCHE! :D I’m completely jazzed about it all! I can’t wait to get to know you better. {: Love.

  12. Toye says:

First of all I LOVE the color scheme! “Turquoise-y” blue isn’t necessary my favorite color but I absolutely love the blue and brown color combo and have used it my home decor. You’ve really been doing your homework and have found some truly inspiring themes and ideas to work with. So much to choose from, so many decisions to make and as always so little time!

  13. Lucy says:

Candy! I love the combo…my bedroom is actually robin egg blue and brown!! So I love it all day and all night. I think cream or off white flowers would be awesome!
Please let me now if I can help in any way!!!! Seriously!!!
